This engaging course will pair art and science to create a
simultaneously fun and educational exploration of biology and ecology.
Students will harness their newly improved drawing skills to capture the
essence of some of the earth’s most fascinating creatures, all the
while learning about the evolution of these species.
Instructor
Salomon Durrani graduated
with a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rice University in
December of 2011. He began working with General Academic in the summer
of 2011 and is currently the Lead Tutor for the Study Lounge. Sal enjoyed the "Biological Illustrations" class he took as a high school student at Kinkaid, and he looks forward to sharing that enthusiasm now as course instructor.
