Robust, Virtual Classroom

A broadband Internet connection between the student and instructor allows us to utilize advanced and proven technology to virtually provide all of the tools (and more) of a traditional brick-and-mortar classroom through your computer.

This capability means that you and your instructor will have access to a whiteboard, two-way voice communication, type-written communication, and even application and desktop sharing should you require it. Finally, you and your instructor can even browse the web together in a shared browser.

The web-based software is reliable, easy to use, and compatible with both Macintosh and Windows operating systems.

Textbooks & Media

Depending on your objectives and preferences, your client Adviser will suggest which books and resources to acquire.

Of course, if you're already using a textbook in a class or wish to use something other than what we recommend, you are entirely free to do so.

Teachers. Our teachers teach Mandarin to foreigners as their profession. They have had at least one year of experience meaning that they have the skill set and ability to teach you everything you need to know about Chinese.

Professors. Our professors are exceptional instructors, who have nearly mastered the English language. They are able to explain even the most foreign concepts and difficult terminology. We recommend this level of service for clients who want to fine tune their already good Mandarin or clients who need assistance with complex vocabulary.

An American based client Adviser will always be available to manage your needs. If you ever have any questions or concerns about your study program, your client Adviser is just a toll-free call away. And our client Advisers are sympathetic to your needs having struggled with the study of Chinese themselves!

You never have to pay to speak with your client Adviser.

Rates

We offer two payment schedules. You may choose either to go hour to hour or to purchase a package.

Whether you choose to go hour to hour or buy a package, payment is by credit card. Customers paying by the hour will have their credit cards billed weekly for the number of hours they have used. Customers purchasing a package will have their credit cards billed up front.

Our packages offer the best value with savings of up to 20% versus going hour-to-hour and unused hours are always refundable*.
